Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for a talented and dedicated Licensed Hair Stylist to be a part of our dynamic team. The perfect fit would be someone who is not only well-versed in the latest hair styling techniques, but also excels in providing top-notch customer service and has a knack for retail sales. As a Hair Stylist at our salon, your role will involve delivering high-quality hair services to our valued clients, all while creating a positive and memorable experience for them.
Minimum: 2 Years of Experience.
REQUIRED: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BRAIDING AND LOCKS
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of hair services including haircuts, hair coloring, hair styling, and hair treatments
Provide consultations to understand clients’ needs and preferences
Demonstrate proficiency in using hair stylist tools such as scissors, hair dryers, and hair straighteners
Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of tools and work areas
Offer advice on hair care and hair products
Uphold excellent customer service standards to ensure client satisfaction
Stay updated on current trends in hair techniques and styles
Experience:
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with knowledge of various hair types and conditions
Proficiency in using hair tools for haircuts, hair coloring, and hair styling
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients
Knowledge of hair health and safety regulations
Experience in retail sales with the ability to upsell hair care products
Familiarity with scalp massage techniques is a plus
Ability to mentor junior hair stylists and provide guidance on techniques
