We’re seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. We are a 20-bed CBRF looking for a part-time once-a-week hair stylist for our residents. The current stylist is looking to retire. You set your prices for our residents, it has to be approved by our Administrator. You would get paid the last week of every month.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling and cosmetology, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to our residents. This role requires creativity, technical skill, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in various hair services while contributing to a positive salon environment.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of hair services, including cutting, setting hair, perms, and beard trims.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client’s needs and offering professional advice on hair care and styling options.
Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
Maintain an organized work area and manage inventory of products used for services.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling, with skills in cutting, and coloring.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and ability to maintain cleanliness in the salon environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
