Accessory Designer
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with design team, design manager, director of vendor relation and sales manager to ensure effective work.
- Manage all communication regarding design specification and compliance to same in manufacturing unit.
- Evaluate all prototypes and ensure implementation of revisions to enhance growth oriented program for better marketing.
- Prepare overseas travel package for visiting abroad and recommend enhancement to projects.
- Participate in sales conferences to deliver samples and analyze design and assist sales staff to follow same.
- Design and deliver innovative design solutions with efficiency to meet basic standard of all products.
- Provide technical education to employees to increase aesthetics of designs.
- Administer and develop innovative designs for various pattern details and branding.
- Analyze season requirements and develop strategies for all products and line segments accordingly.
- Monitor and finalize all packages according to production reviews, manufacturing rules and performance.
- Evaluate all samples and correspond changes for development and progression of footwear designs.
- Maintain and utilize knowledge regarding consumer and culture oriented programs to ensure better performance.
Experience/ requirements:
- In office availability
- 3+ years experience designing accessories
- Skilled in Illustrator & Photoshop
- Previous experience working with licensed brands a plus
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly skilled & practiced in written communications
- Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of raw materials
- Detailed, organized, work independently
