Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to manage and grow our existing brand partnerships within major retailers and to actively pursue new business opportunities by establishing relationships with potential buyers. The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for managing the sales process from strategy to execution, ensuring that sales goals for each brand are met or exceeded. This role involves deep collaboration with contracted brands in our showroom to effectively position their products in alignment with retailer needs. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial thinker, efficient, capable, determined, a problem-solver, curious, ambitious and looking for a position where they can grow.
Key Responsibilities:
● Sales and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong sales capabilities paired with a personable approach to foster trust and loyalty among clients and partners.
● Effective Communication: Write persuasive and clear pitches to present our brands to top-tier buyers, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and market focus. Excellent communication skills to efficiently facilitate orders from buyers, ensuring swift and accurate transactions. They must be adept at providing essential details that align with client needs, implicitly including the ability to promptly deliver visual representations of products to streamline decision-making processes.
● Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with buyers, ensuring a reliable and trustworthy communication channel for future collaborations.
● Market Feedback: Provide actionable feedback to brands based on retailer responses and market demand, guiding them towards products that fulfill market needs.
● Logistics Management: Manage and communicate key processes for brands and retailers effectively including but not limited to vendor set up, shipping, etc.
● Organizational Skills: Maintain meticulous records and manage multiple project timelines effectively, ensuring attention to detail in all aspects of the sales process.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a Sales Executive in the fashion industry, with a strong track record in meeting sales targets and managing brand relationships is preferred.
● Demonstrated ability in identifying new business opportunities and establishing new client relationships in the retail sector is preferred.
● Deep understanding of the retail landscape, especially in the contemporary women’s fashion sector.
● Excellent negotiation and sales skills, with the ability to close deals effectively and maintain profitable relationships.
● Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and sales analytics.
● Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple brand portfolios effectively.
● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with retailers and brands at all levels.
*Existing relationships with major retailers is a plus.
*Salary depends on experience: $70,000-$80,000
