This position is responsible for executing sales strategy, initiating and maintaining contact with existing and potential customers, and maximizing wholesale shipments with these customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Liaison for daily tasks involving Sales, Production, Design and Product Execution to ensure the assortment fits into cost structure

· Monitor, assemble and analyze weekly sales

· Devise strategies and make recommendations to customers and internal partners regarding merchandising.

· Pull best sellers for weekly meetings

· Processes all orders from accounts, creating Master Chart and disseminating accordingly

· Ensuring that it is always keep up to date with most recent information

· Schedules bi-weekly production meetings with internal team

· Manage and find opportunities to expand business with existing accounts

· Research and perform competitive analysis; monitor relevant trends and work with internal partners, where appropriate

· Negotiate all costing externally

· Coordinate with production and customer service to ensure timely fulfillment of all orders and receive extensions from accounts if delivery is delayed

· Manage communications and feedback between accounts and internal partners in Design and Production

· Creating and sending all UPCs to external accounts

· Grow new and existing account base, penetrate new markets, and develop and maintain business relationships with customers

· Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment

· Accumulate and analyze weekly sales and stock levels for recommendations based on information gathered

· Analyze and negotiate quarterly profitability’s

· Utilization of corporate reports for credit, shipping, and booking purposes

· Ability to execute operational duties to effectively manage a wholesale business, track selling, monitor markdowns, place and track orders, and understand 6 month seasonal vendor plans

· Communicate with accounts regarding delivery issues

· Partner with customer service about shipments

Bachelor’s Degree

4+ years of experience

Interpersonal interactions such as coaching, negotiating, selling, and making group presentations

Ability to perform complex verbal and written communications face to face and in group settings

Excellent Excel skills

Retail Math knowledge
