About the Job:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage all aspects of customer billing and collections across wholesale, retail, and ecommerce channels. This position reports directly to the Controller and works closely with the Finance, Fulfillment and Operations departments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Wholesale Accounts Receivable
Request and track deposits from prepaid customers
Manage collections for accounts with open payment terms
Generate and distribute customer invoices
Maintain accurate logs of all deposits received
Process payments in our ERP system
Perform monthly sales reconciliations
Prepare AR aging reports and monthly receivables forecasts
Retail and Ecommerce (Shopify)
Oversee transaction flow from Shopify into our ERP system
Identify and correct sales and refund discrepancies
Record payments in our ERP system
Reconcile monthly sales and payments across POS and ecommerce channels
Reconcile the sales tax reports from Shopify, Avalara and our ERP system.
Assist with bank reconciliation.
Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with emphasis on accounts receivable
Demonstrated experience with Shopify platform and integrations
Proficiency with RLM ERP system (required)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Experience with multichannel retail operations preferred
Working Relationships:
This position will report to the Controller and regularly collaborate with the Finance, Fulfillment and Operations departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer transactions.
Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000
