Full Job Description
BBC International LLC is an established leader in the footwear industry specializing in sourcing, design, and technology for branded, licensed, and in-house owned brands. We currently have an exciting new opportunity as we are seeking a creative Action Sports Footwear Design Assistant. As a Design Assistant, you will be an instrumental team member in the development of products.
The primary function of this full-time role includes but are not limited to:
Contributing Design Team Member of a Globally renown Skate Lifestyle Brand
Detail entry and Collaboration of designs submitted to overseas office/ sample room facilities via PLM System.
Selection of materials, trims and components that align with design aesthetics and brand DNA to deliver innovative performance products that address market opportunities.
Following through of Design requests from development to final production confirmation.
Market/ Trend research and Creation of trend Presentation.
Any other business as assigned by the Design Director.
Qualifications- Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Footwear Design, &/or equivalent relevant work experience.
Proficiency in design software – Illustrator and Photoshop
Good communication skills.
Strong knowledge level of competitive products, retail environments and market influences.
Thrive working within a dynamic, high-performing, and fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
