Job Synopsis:
The Advanced Torpedo Technician oversees the critical tasks of assembling, inspecting, and troubleshooting the MK48 torpedo’s essential components. Our technicians participate in every stage of preparation, ensuring components meet the highest standards before deployment.
Key Duties:
Execute meticulous assembly and evaluations, adhering to rigorous specification standards.
Promote inter-departmental collaboration, ensuring a seamless exchange of data and insights.
Safeguard workforce health and product quality, unearthing improvement potential across operations.
Applicants should possess the following:
Educational Background:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Professional Experience:
A minimum of three years in an electro-mechanical environment within manufacturing or engineering settings.
Familiarity with both facility and equipment upkeep is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
Travel may occasionally be required, up to 5% of the time.
Preferred Expertise:
Preferably holding a technical degree in electronics or a similar branch.
Competency in various technical domains such as hydraulics, HVAC, and PLC systems.
ITAR Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use. To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.

Rewards Package:
Starting remuneration is $26.00 hourly, with potential earnings up to $32.00, contingent on additional qualification appraisal.
