Position Overview: Cult Gaia is seeking an Allocator to support inventory flow and allocation strategies across Wholesale, E-commerce, and Retail channels. This role will be responsible for managing inventory movement, executing allocation strategies, and supporting overall inventory health to drive sales and optimize performance. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to balance inventory across multiple channels while supporting business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Allocation & Replenishment

  • Execute pre-season and in-season store allocations for owned categories across all retail door fleet
  • Analyze store-level sales velocity, sell-through rates (STR), and weeks of supply (WOS) to drive replenishment decisions
  • Maintain appropriate ATS levels across locations, ensuring depth at top-performing doors
  • Partner with Planning on OTB management and receipt flow to support allocation timing
  • React to in-season trends by identifying reallocation opportunities – pulling back from slow doors, reinforcing winners

Inventory Management

  • Monitor door-level inventory health metrics including WOS, ROS, STR, and VDR on a weekly basis
  • Identify and action problem SKUs: overstocks, aged inventory, and size imbalances
  • Support end-of-season consolidation and markdown strategy in collaboration with the Planning team
  • Maintain accurate store-level receipt tracking and flag discrepancies to logistics and operations

Reporting & Analysis

  • Build and maintain weekly store performance dashboards and allocation recaps for internal stakeholders
  • Prepare seasonal hindsight reviews analyzing door productivity, sell-through outcomes, and inventory efficiency
  • Partner with Merchandising on new door opening assortments, initial allocations, and size curve recommendations
  • Support broader Planning team with ad hoc analysis as required

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary allocation point of contact for Store Operations and Field teams
  • Participate in weekly sell-through meetings, providing store-level inventory insights
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce and Wholesale Planning teams on inventory transfers and cross-channel needs

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 3–5 years of allocation or retail planning experience, preferably in fashion, apparel, or accessories
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, data modeling)
  • Experience with allocation systems or planning tools (e.g., RELO, Blue Yonder, Island Pacific, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of retail KPIs: STR, WOS, ROS, ATS, OTB
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, seasonal environment

Preferred

  • Experience in a DTC or multi-channel retail environment (stores + ecommerce)
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or equivalent)
  • Exposure to store opening processes and new door setup
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or related field
