We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alteration Specialist to join our team. Duties
- Perform alterations on a variety of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute alterations accurately.
- Consult with customers to understand their alteration needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fit and make necessary adjustments based on individual preferences.
- Maintain an organized workspace and keep all tools and equipment in good condition.
- Collaborate with team members to manage workflow efficiently and meet customer deadlines.
- Stay updated on current fashion trends and techniques in garment construction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fashion retail or a similar environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Proficiency in using sewing machines and knowledge of various sewing techniques.
- Understanding of garment construction principles and fabric types.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to alterations.
