Lee Petra Grebenau is looking for an experienced bridal seamstress to join our growing New York boutique and support our alterations department.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with delicate fabrics, couture construction, and bridal alterations.
Responsibilities:
• Bridal alterations and fittings
• Working closely with brides during alteration appointments when needed
• Communication with boutique team regarding timelines and alteration progress
• Maintaining high quality standards and attention to detail across all work
• Supporting fittings and final garment preparation
Requirements:
• Previous experience in bridal alterations is strongly preferred
• Experience working with delicate fabrics, corsetry, couture techniques, lace, and hand finishing
• Strong technical sewing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage timelines
Role Structure:
• Hybrid position: a combination of in-boutique work and remote work from your own workspace
• Flexible schedule
• Most alteration work may be completed remotely, with fittings and certain appointments taking place in our NYC boutique
