Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Alterations Specialist to join our team. As an Alterations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality alterations and tailoring services to our customers. This is a skilled position that requires expertise in garment construction and the use of sewing machines.
Responsibilities:
– Perform alterations and repairs on garments according to customer specifications
– Take accurate measurements and make adjustments to ensure proper fit
– Sew hems, seams, buttons, and other necessary alterations
– Assist customers in selecting appropriate alterations based on their needs
– Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
– Proficiency in using sewing machines and other alteration tools
– Knowledge of garment construction techniques
– Basic math skills for measuring and calculating alterations
– Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
– Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
