Colea Alterations LLC is looking for a self-motivated, think-outside-the-box, reliable individual with tenacity for a customer service & seamstress position. Attention to detail is a must. This position calls for both an analytical, skilled service mindset and an outgoing, customer service flexibility. The ability to communicate with customers and co-workers is of utmost importance. You will be the first face customers see upon arrival. Work on a wide variety of garments from yoga pants to ball gowns, from sewing on a button to relining a coat. Great opportunity to let your creative juices flow.
Fashion knowledge, including current trends is helpful. Tasks include:
greeting customers
performing fittings and fostering a trusting relationship
using a tablet or laptop to enter orders
problem solving, critical thinking and making on-the-spot decisions
sewing
general daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning
steaming garments
handling money
taking incoming phone calls
Sewing/alterations experience preferred. Ideal candidate has limited experience with a strong desire to learn.
Must be able to lift large bundles of clothing on and off of tall garment racks. Must be willing to perform fittings which require you to get up and down off of the floor multiple times a day. Must be able to work Saturday mornings and until 6:30PM during the week.
Hiring one full time position.
