Mode Search is exclusively supporting a Global fine jewelry brand to support their search for an APAC Retail Merchandising Manager based in the head office in Quarry Bay.
This is a unique opportunity to join a business known for its fresh take on diamonds and impressive craftsmanship. The brand is at the forefront of style and glamour, with a high-profile celebrity following.
The position reports to the APAC MD in HK and the global merchandising Director based in Paris. This role offers hybrid work with 2 days WFH.
The Role
Analyse the sales performance (sell in, sell out, sell through) and the stock coverages for both Internal and External Retail
Support wholesale distribution and negotiations
Provide regular sales & stock reports for the Global Merch team based in Paris
Build and follow up the action plans to optimize boutique stock and to limit overstock and shortage (transfer, rebalancing, return, incentive)
Monitor aging stocks and recommend action plans on slow-moving items
Work closely with each Point of sale to have a better understanding of sales trends and receive qualitative comments on new launches and collections
Role Requirements:
Fully fluent in Mandarin and English
Minimum 3 years experience in a merchandising role in jewelry or watches
Valid HK Passport or permanent residency
Advanced command of Excel and experience with data analysis and forecasting reports
