The Merch CAD Designer is responsible for the creation of innovative, original prints, patterns and graphic designs across our diverse product lines for apparel and accessories.
Position follows a hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday-Friday remote.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Create unique print, pattern, and graphic artwork across multiple Own Brand apparel and accessories product lines.
Conduct comprehensive research to continuously identify and analyze market trends, translating these insights into compelling design concepts.
Work with Design & Product Development to understand seasonal artwork work needs,
Aid in the creation of Style CADs for assortment presentation purposes.
Review all pattern strike-offs and handlooms for approval.
Format all artwork development for transmission into production ready Tech Packs, inclusive of color callouts, repeat and sizing.
Update and maintain in house print/pattern library.
Establish and monitor the CAD process and calendar to ensure project deadlines.
Oversee the entire textile and print design process, from initial concept through final product, ensuring all revisions and approvals align with our high standards.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Fashion Design or equivalent experience.
7-10 years experience in CAD design with emphasis in Textiles & Apparel preferred.
Expertise in design software including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong management, communicative, organizational and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of the apparel retail industry.
Understanding of specific merchandising lines and core customer behavior.
Office computer skills; ability to learn company systems and tools, preference for Microsoft application experience.
