Position Overview
ICO Uniforms is looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Apparel Designer to join our team during a maternity leave coverage period.
This role sits at the center of our design process—supporting multiple projects as they move from concept through development. You’ll work closely with designers, technical teams, and leadership to help bring ideas to life in a structured, efficient, and scalable way.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and update project status across Airtable and Wrike
• Ensure all projects are accurately tracked from concept through development
• Maintain clear visibility of timelines, deliverables, and next steps
• Organize and prepare files for WFX (PLM system)
• Ensure all documentation is complete, properly named, and accessible
• Support the team with file preparation, updates, and coordination needs
• Identify missing information or delays and proactively flag them
What You Will Own
• Accuracy and organization of all project tracking systems
• Workflow visibility across all active design projects
• File structure, naming consistency, and system hygiene
Who You’ll Work With
• Design Owners (client-facing designers)
• Technical Design Lead (garment development)
• Development Support (Colombia-based coordination)
• Design Director
Qualifications
• 2–5 years experience in apparel, product development, or design coordination
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (basic leve)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Clear written communication in English (fluency not required, but clarity is important)
Bonus Qualifications
• Experience with PLM systems (WFX or similar)
• Experience working with project management tools (Airtable, Wrike, Asana, etc.)
• Experience working with U.S.-based teams
• Background in apparel, uniforms, or product development
