2.7 August Apparel is looking for a Fashion Design Assistant to join our creative team and help bring our concepts to life.
Based in the heart of the LA Fashion District, we’re a fast-growing B2B apparel company behind popular brands like Endless Rose, English Factory, Grey Lab, and Free the Roses. Since 2011, we’ve built a reputation for delivering on-trend, high-quality fashion and we’re just getting started.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the design team in creating sketches, mood boards, and color palettes
- Conduct trend research and support seasonal concept development.
- Support with sample fittings, patternmaking, and technical drawings.
- Help source fabrics and trims, track materials, and manage sample flow.
- Communicate design specs to production and assist with resolving any issues
- Support Photoshoot team and keep the design studio organized and maintain material/sample archives
- Provide administrative support and work closely with the Creative Director.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong eye for fashion, design, and trends
- 1+ years of experience in apparel design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with technical flats
- Great organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and a team-player attitude
- A positive, can-do spirit and attention to detail
** Portfolio relate with Women’s clothing is required **
