Duties
- Assist in designing apparel collections by translating creative concepts into detailed sketches and technical drawings using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD software.
- Support the development of prototypes and samples through garment construction techniques, sewing, and fitting sessions.
- Collaborate on color theory applications and graphic design elements to enhance visual storytelling within collections.
- Manage the product lifecycle from initial concept through production, ensuring designs meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Contribute to merchandising strategies by analyzing fashion retail trends and styling insights to inform design decisions.
- Maintain organized records of design files, technical specifications, and production notes using product lifecycle management tools.
Experience
- Experience required 2-3 years.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and CAD software for fashion design.
- Knowledge of garment construction techniques, sewing machines, and pattern making processes.
- Background in fashion retail or merchandising is a MUST, along with familiarity with the latest industry trends.
- Excellent illustration skills with the ability to create detailed sketches that communicate design intent clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects efficiently.
