Cider is seeking an Apparel Graphic Designer to create and execute graphic-based artwork for graphic tops. Success in this position requires strong deadline management and the ability to produce clear, concise tech packs. This opportunity is remote and project-based.
Role Responsibilities
Attend handoff meetings with the concept/merchandising to receive project briefs for artwork and tech pack development.
Create original artwork, layouts, and colorways using a blend of traditional techniques and digital tools ensuring designs are on-brand and trend-appropriate.
Generate CADs to communicate print placements on garments and create clear, concise technical packages for artwork to be sent to vendors and factories.
Partner with the Merchandising Director to execute the seasonal vision for graphics.
Stay informed on the latest fashion trends related to graphics, craft, prints, and color, incorporating them into designs while keeping the brand fresh and aligned with current trends.
Role Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Graphic Design, textiles, fibers, or similar discipline preferred.
5-10 years of related industry experience preferred
Proven expertise in graphics, with strong hand-drawing/painting skills and digital rendering abilities.
A creative mindset with a passion for surface design and trend forecasting.
Excellent communication skills, with a flexible and positive attitude.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
