Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Apparel Inventory and Shipping Specialist to join our fast-paced back office team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate management of clothing stock, coordinate shipping and receiving operations, and ensure seamless order fulfillment for our USA operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain optimal inventory levels, streamline warehouse distribution, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels using and ensure accurate stock counts through regular cycle counts and audits
- Prepare, pack, and ship apparel orders efficiently, utilizing picking & packing techniques
- Receive inbound shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and document discrepancies or damages
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking merchandise properly on pallets or shelves for easy retrieval
- Support order fulfillment by accurately picking items according to order specifications, ensuring timely dispatch for delivery or pickup
- Assist with packaging apparel products securely for shipment, ensuring quality standards are met before dispatch
Skills
- Proven experience in apparel a plus
- Strong accuracy in shipping & receiving procedures
- Ability to lift 40-50lbs, bend, climb steps, and organize inventory boxes on shelving safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of apparel inventory management, stocking, order picking, packing, and fulfillment processes
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Familiarity with e-commerce logistics workflows and packaging standards for apparel products
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop a plus
