Role Description The Apparel Merchandiser (Buying/Export House/High Fashion) role at CAREERBLOC is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi. The role involves managing the merchandising cycle, including product development, sampling, costings, and coordination with buyers and factories. The Apparel Merchandiser will track orders, monitor production timelines, and ensure that quality, delivery schedules, and buyer specifications are met. Daily responsibilities include liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, analyzing trends and buyer feedback, and supporting the sales and marketing teams with product-related information. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and communication trails to support smooth operations and client satisfaction.

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with buyers, vendors, and internal teams.

- Relevant experience in apparel merchandising within buying houses, export houses, or high-fashion brands.
- Good understanding of fabrics, garment construction, costing, and production processes.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email) and familiarity with merchandising tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion, Textile, Apparel Management, or related field is preferred.
