Job Title: Apparel Pattern Maker
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Apparel Pattern Maker to join our Newport Beach office and work directly with our engineering team. This role focuses on pattern making, CAD design, and technical garment construction to support the development of our fashion application.
This is a fully office-based position with no in-store or customer-facing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain CAD patterns and digital garment files for the fashion app
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are technically accurate and production-ready
- Develop and manage tech packs and technical design documentation
- Adapt CAD files to meet production constraints and design requirements
- Stay current on CAD tools, digital apparel design, and technical fashion trends
Requirements:
- Experience using CAD software for fashion (e.g., CLO 3D, Illustrator, Blender)
- Strong pattern making and technical garment construction skills
- Understanding of production processes and ability to translate digital designs into manufacturable garments
- Experience creating or managing technical design documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with an engineering team
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or related field preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in pattern making, CAD, or technical garment development
- Experience working with digital fashion applications or software-driven apparel platforms
- Exposure to advanced garment engineering or technical development in apparel
