Apparel company seeking an organized and detail-oriented product development professional to support design, sourcing, and overseas development.
Job Title: Product Development Coordinator
Position Summary: The Product Development Coordinator supports the product development process by coordinating daily workflow, preparing development documentation, and assisting Design with product execution across multiple brands and store accounts. This role works closely with Design, Technical Design, Costing, Sales, and vendors to help ensure products move through development accurately and on schedule. The position supports sample management, development documentation, and product readiness while maintaining organization and accuracy throughout the development process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support preparation and organization of samples and tags for market, line reviews, and sales meetings.
- Create and maintain product development and costing tech packs for overseas development, ensuring required specifications, construction details, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and overseas vendors to obtain and organize information required to complete development and costing tech packs.
- Assign style numbers and build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Centric.
- Maintain product development documentation, photos, CADs, and related files.
- Utilize Centric to support product development activities.
- Compile and validate pre-costing information, yields, and development requirements to support accurate costing and product development.
- Prepare and distribute complete development and costing packages to Technical Design and Costing teams for product development and production handoff.
- Coordinate sample shipments, vendor follow-up, and development tracking.
- Assist with hanger and mannequin photography and product tagging.
- Coordinate CAD/ Tags and 3D requests and maintain accurate development information.
- Monitor development timelines and communicate potential delays or issues to management.
- Participate in line review preparation, prepping and passing standards for handoff meetings.
- Support Product Development leadership with test cuts, costing reviews, and development follow-up.
- Maintain organization of development files and ensure data accuracy within PLM systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
Necessary Skills and Abilities:
- 2–5 years of experience in apparel product development, design support, or a related field.
- Understanding of apparel product development processes, tech packs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Experience using Centric PLM preferred; Spark/Target systems are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator; Photoshop is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $28.00 – $31.00 per hour
