Full Job Description
Apparel company located in City of Industry is seeking a production coordinator, to join our production team, work closely with design team and sales team on development and production orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and prepare required WIP reports and bestsellers
Work with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and deliveries
Coordinate with overseas offices and factories to ensure smooth production and communication updates to customers
Track and manage fit sample approvals
Check and record reorders specifications
Communicate regularly with design team in order to ensure accurate fit
Identify potential product, quality and costing issues and make appropriate recommendations with designers and sales/production team
·Compile information on all garment components including fit, fabric, construction, and trim
Communicate/identify potential production, quality fit and balance issues to factory pattern makers in either written and/or visual methods
·Prepare and manage shipping reports to track shipments and ensure timely
Qualifications:
Must be Bilingual Language – English and Mandarin
BA degree or equivalent
3-4 years working experience at a fast-pasted fashion company in USA
Ability to grade garments accordingly
Knowledge of POM and specifications Prior fit experience preferred
Ability to grade garments accordingly
Must be proficient in MS office (Outlook/Excel/Word)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of preparing and writing product specification
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
