WHO WE WANT
The Apparel Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Production Manager from development stage thru production for all print related items.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Daily Communication with factories
Manage, Maintain and Print Tracker/WIP with all vendors, communicate and monitor deadlines.
Track, review, comment, and approve all strike offs, labdips and submits from design concept to production.
Ensure prints are executed correctly for scale and color per design specs/artwork
Prepare and Provide Licensing Team all assets needed for submissions
Work with cross-functional partners in Design, Art, Merch and PD Teams to problem-solve and execute artworks to required specifications and placements
Work proactively according to production calendar, to stay ahead of timelines
Maintain and organize physical libraries of all strike-off’s and labdips as needed.
Follow up with vendors throughout the development and production stages to ensure deadlines are being maintained
Maintain close communication with Production department on inbound deliveries and track all strike-offs/labdips
Maintain records and documentation of all print and color related files and communications to ensure accuracy and standards are being followed
Be proactive, problem solve, and address issues in timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:Bachelor’s Degree in related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:At least 5 years of related experience is required
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
+5 years work experience in comparable role in the apparel market
Highly-developed sensitivity to color balance
High attention to detail
Knowledge of Print repeats, pitch sheets
Understanding of Development and Production Process
Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team player
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to change
Works well under pressure with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail
Extremely organized and detail-oriented – excellent calendar adherence and ownership
Excellent time management skills
