Role: Apparel Production Manager
Full-time, on-site in DTLA (Arts District)
This is a high-speed, high-pressure role for someone who thrives in chaos and delivers results. You’ll own 100% of production end-to-end for our fast-growing luxury brand (primarily factories in China & India). Turn Paris design dreams into flawless garments — on time, on budget, and at the highest couture quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full production cycle: tech packs to sampling, bulk, QC, logistics, and warehouse delivery.
- Be the main point of contact with factories in China & India (daily WeChat/WhatsApp + late calls required).
- Ruthlessly manage timelines, costs, quality, and last-minute design changes without ever missing delivery.
- Source fabrics, laces, trims & embellishments while aggressively negotiating better pricing and MOQs.
- Build and expand our network of top-tier factories with strong long-term relationships.
- Deliver accurate weekly production & cost reports every Monday to Paris and US teams.
- Plan capacity 12–18 months ahead and solve problems before they happen.
You’ll Thrive Here If You
- Have 1–4+ years in luxury/contemporary womenswear production (China & India experience is a big plus).
- Excel at complex Excel/Google Sheets tracking and critical paths.
- Stay calm and solution-focused under intense pressure.
- Love luxury fabrics, embroidery, beading, and couture-level quality.
- Are proactive, fast-thinking, and flexible with hours (extra 10 hours some weeks, normal weeks on others).
