OVERVIEW
The Sample Coordinator is responsible for full management of all apparel sales samples and for regular support for pattern makers and technical design team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage sample requirements & availability for Fashion Shows, Photo Shoots, Tradeshows, Sales Meetings, Showrooms, Market weeks & Customers.
Prepare & coordinate all seasonal sample lines to & from our sales force
Organize and maintain all apparel samples by season.
Maintain system to identify & track the location of all garment styles.
Ensure all in-house garment samples are organized and easily accessible.
Assist our pattern makers and technical design team with specs, measuring sample garments etc.
Receive overseas packages & distribute contents (strike-offs, lab-dips, SMS/PP/TOP samples etc.)
Perform special projects, as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficient level understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word & Excel.
Work with minimal supervision.
Ability to take initiative and identify priorities to maintain deadlines.
Polished organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple projects.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of specs, point of measurements, and garment construction is helpful.
Understanding of fabric characteristics and different knit and weave types is helpful.
