Role Overview: Apparel Sourcing Manager

Purpose:

The Apparel Sourcing Manager at LT Apparel is crucial for driving cost-effectiveness, quality, and efficiency across our global supply chain for apparel products. This role supports our strategic expansion, particularly in managing our licensed brands, adidas & Carhartt Kids. As part of our growing team, you’ll develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with our business goals.

Role Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive global sourcing strategy that aligns with business objectives and optimizes cost, quality, and lead times.

Manage the entire sourcing process, from identifying potential vendors and negotiating contracts to managing production and ensuring on-time delivery.

Conduct market research and identify new and reliable vendors across the globe, with a focus on target regions such as Southeast Asia and Central America.

Evaluate new and existing vendors based on quality standards, pricing, production capabilities, ethical labor practices, and social responsibility compliance.

Negotiate and finalize contracts with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.

Oversee production and manage relationships with factories to ensure adherence to specifications, quality control standards, and delivery timelines.

Manage and analyze cost structures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize pricing.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, including design, production, and logistics.

Stay up to date on global trade regulations, import/export procedures, and industry trends in apparel sourcing.

Role Requirements:

Experience:Minimum 5-7 years of experience in apparel sourcing, ideally within a global environment.

Skills:

Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sourcing strategies that improve cost efficiency and product quality.

Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PLM-related software.

Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex data sets.

Ability to travel internationally as needed (a plus).

Passion for the apparel industry and a keen eye for detail.
