Apparel Technical Designer Jobs in Los Angeles at Clothing Illustrated
Proficient Apparel Technical Designers need only apply:
- Create initial development tech pack: build POM’s, BOM, Construction call outs and assign fit specs for protos from design sketches.
- Measure samples from proto through PP stages and prep for fitting
- Check construction and quality of samples match as design requested
- Ability to clearly communicate both verbally, written and diagram fit/spec/construction issues in a fitting and in tech pack comments
- Ability to fit garments with the team and lead a fitting as needed
- Must have experience with patterns and pattern corrections
- Team minded mentality, keep clear communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functioning teams
- Maintain daily communication for fit comments and follow-up with vendors
- Organized, tracking, and manage the workflow of assigned products.
- CAD sketching and sweater knowledge are a plus
- Ability to read and understand patterns a must!
- Pattern making ability a plus/preferred
