As an Archive/PR Intern at Rosetta Getty, you will assist in managing the brand’s archives and supporting the PR team in daily tasks. Key responsibilities include organizing and digitizing fashion collections and press materials, helping coordinate sample trafficking, tracking press coverage, and assisting with event preparation. The role provides valuable exposure to both archival management and fashion public relations in a luxury brand environment. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational skills, a passion for fashion, and an interest in PR and media relations.
Responsibilities
Archive Management: Organize, catalog, and maintain fashion collections, press materials, and sample inventories in an efficient and accessible manner.
Sample Trafficking: Assist with tracking and managing samples, including coordinating shipments, returns, and maintaining records.
Press Coverage: Monitor and track media coverage, including articles, press mentions, and features, ensuring they are recorded and filed appropriately.
Event Preparation: Assist in organizing events, from preparing event materials to supporting on-site logistics and helping with set-up.
Support PR Team: Provide general administrative support to the PR team, including drafting and proofreading press materials, assisting with media outreach, and coordinating schedules.
Research: Conduct research on industry trends, media outlets, and potential PR opportunities.
Communication: Maintain communication with influencers, and stylists, ensuring smooth operations in PR campaigns.
Qualifications
Education: Must be enrolled in an academic program, pursuing a degree in Fashion, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Organization: Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail, ensuring archives and PR materials are easily accessible and well-maintained.
Passion for Fashion: Genuine interest in fashion, luxury brands, and the fashion industry as a whole – familiarity with influencers and key-fashion players
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including PR, marketing, and design.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with digital asset management systems or similar tools.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Previous Internship Experience (Preferred): Experience in fashion, PR, or media relations is a plus, but not required.
Creative Mindset: Ability to think outside the box and contribute to brainstorming sessions for PR campaigns and events.
