Our client is seeking a n assistant buyer to join their dynamic team. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for the beauty industry. Based in Ashbourne.
Job Overview:
Assist in selecting cosmetics products aligned with brand and target market.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely product procurement.
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and support merchandising strategies.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with buying team to research and select cosmetics products.
Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and support merchandising strategies.
Qualifications:
Relevant Degree/Qualifications
1-2 years experience in a retail support buying role essential
Experience in cosmetics highly desired
Strong Excel knowledge
Strong analytical skills, communication, and negotiation abilities.
Must be based in a commutable distance to Ashbourne – 4 days onsite/ 1 Remote
Relevant Visa without restrictions
