Assistant Buyer for Women’s Designer Apparel & Accessories Jobs in Minneapolis, MN at Rosenthals

Full Job Description

The assistant buyer will be responsible for partnering with management to make buying decisions for designer women’s clothing and accessories across multiple store locations, and manage the open to buy (OTB) budgeting/ordering process across seasons.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with season planning and buying across all classes and locations.

Monitor weekly sales to determine opportunities for reorders and markdowns.

Enter purchase orders

Interface with store operations to reconcile PO/Receipt discrepancies.

Travel to market to assist with line reviews.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year buying experience in Women’s Designer Ready to Wear, Shoes and Accessories.

Strong retail planning and analytical skills.

Travel as required.

Proficient in using and learning new inventory software including Heartland, Retail Orbit and Excel.

Experience with an open to buy planning process.
