The Opportunity
Are you eager to start your career in the fashion industry? As our Assistant Buyer, you’ll help source the latest must-have products for our stores. You’ll partner with an experienced team, deepen your buying expertise, and play a valuable role in keeping our customers ahead of the trends.
Your Responsibilities
– Assist the Buyer with daily tasks, ensuring reports are timely and accurate.
– Partner with buyers and suppliers to enhance product movement and maximize sales.
– Enter and upload purchase orders with careful attention to detail.
– Work with cross-functional teams to optimize product placement and address opportunities or challenges.
– Organize and manage product samples for fit and quality.
– Maintain efficient sample storage and organization.
– Monitor weekly on-order reports to ensure seamless operations.
– Conduct store visits and keep up with competitive trends through market research.
– Liaise with vendors to handle out-of-stocks, returns, and chargebacks.
– Create and deliver visual, promotional, and sales materials for the Buyer.
What You Bring
– Bachelor’s Degree is perferred
– Excellent organizational abilities, with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
– Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
– A positive, professional demeanor and a passion for fashion.
– Openness to travel for store visits and market research.

Work Schedule
– Full-time, salaried role
– Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
– On-site at our lively office
