Your Mission:

Responsible for the profitability and development by leading and Managing the Commercial Department so as to achieve commercial top & below line targets, in line with the company’s mission and vision, by managing day to day activities, planning, developing, implementation of the commercial strategies, and ensuring projects and deliverables are on time as committed.

Your heroic Duties and Responsibilities:

● Assist category manager in negotiation with supplier for BDA & Non-BDA agreements.

● Assist category manager in Identify SKUs, Negotiate, Implement and Manage promotion income to achieve Company’s customer growth targets.

● Assist category manager in implementing the strategy of pricing to ensure that the prices are competitive, and profits are maximized.

● Assist category manager to maintain category margin and contribution value.

● Ensure the implementation of the plans on near expiry items for non-returnable items.

● Developing and maintaining successful relations with suppliers to get the best services.

● Assist category manager to negotiate with suppliers for frequent delivery to improve the inventory turns, service level and commercial margin.

● Implement the promo plan and activities for category profits and extra income.

● Evaluate supplier performance by service Level, Commercial Margin, Assortment etc.

● Involved with category manager in periodical meeting with the supplier to evaluate previous performance.

● Assist category manager in sourcing, listing, and launching new assortment.

● Ensure the implementation of the promotions and marketing activities with the marketing department.

● Ensure to share and communicate the campaign results, tax invoices for compensation and marketing elements.

● Work Hand in Hand with operations to solve issues related to the receiving, cost prices, and suppliers’ management.

● Focal point of contact between vendors and internal functions.

● Assist category manager in day-to-day tasks.

● Other duties as requested.

Your heroic competencies Qualifications Experiences:

● Bachelor’s degree in management, Commercial and/or Marketing or any Related Field

● Minimum experience of 2 years in retail industry.

Skills:

● Demonstrated understanding of retail industry and category trends

● Strong negotiation skills to achieve the best commercial deals & profit from suppliers.

● Efficiently using computerized programs to manage items performances, reports and analysis.

● Ability to build successful relationships with all parties of the supply chain network.

● Problem solving and process management skills.

● Attention to details.

● Communication skills.
