This role will be based in our downtown Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities

Support category, merchandising, promotional, and pricing strategy development.

Assist in category assortment planning, supplier line reviews, and stakeholder collaboration.

Engage with support teams to translate assortment plans into merchandising plans.

Plan and execute logistics for key events, such as supplier line reviews and sampling events.

Maintain supplier and vendor contacts and facilitate communication as needed.

Update system content and assist with documentation and reporting.

Facilitate information sharing among stakeholders.

Support testing development, execution, and analysis.

Assist with category reset, revisions, promotional support, and data management.

Own the process for a category insights and strategy presentation.

Contribute to project management of new product development lifecycle.

Familiarity with retail software solutions.

Able to read financial reports, spot business trends and assess underlying drivers of results.

Familiar with financial goals and guidelines.

Demonstrates a desire for continuous learning and sharpening this skill.

Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and listening.

Understandecessity of tailoring communication to meet audience needs.

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree and 1-3+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
