We are seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Designer to join our innovative design team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in creating detailed sketches, illustrations, and mood boards using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Support the development of textile patterns and fabric selections by utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools and textile knowledge
- Contribute to the conceptualization of fashion collections through sketching, color theory application, and artistic development
- Prepare presentation materials by creating compelling visual stories with vector illustrations and graphic design elements
- Collaborate across departments including merchandising, product development, and marketing to ensure cohesive design execution
- Help with garment construction details, sewing techniques, and 3D modeling for product visualization
- Maintain organized digital files of artwork, sketches, and project documentation aligned with product lifecycle management standards
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and graphic design illustration tools
- Experience with CAD software for textile or product design; familiarity with 3D modeling software is a plus
- Strong skills in design sketching, fashion styling, and garment construction techniques
- Knowledge of textiles used in industrial design and fashion retail environments
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams through cross-functional collaboration
- Understanding of color theory, vector illustration, and artistic concept development
- Hands-on experience with sewing machines and sewing techniques; theater experience or illustration skills are advantageous
- Background in professional art or design programs with a portfolio showcasing creative projects in fashion or graphic arts
