Our client, a private label apparel company based in Downtown Los Angeles, is looking for a full time Assistant Designer. In this role, you'll support the design team in creating innovative collections that set trends and elevate our brand. What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Strong knowledge of apparel design principles and current fashion trends
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to translate concepts into compelling visual designs
Bonus Skills:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced fashion or apparel company
- Familiarity with private label or wholesale apparel processes
- Basic understanding of fabric properties and garment construction
Recommended Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
- 1-2 years of assistant or junior designer experience preferred but not mandatory
