About the Role
EB Denim is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Designer to support our Design and Product Development teams. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of experience who is passionate about denim, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and can balance creative and operational responsibilities throughout the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support CAD sketch updates and technical illustrations in Adobe Illustrator
- Build and maintain SMS and prototype request charts
- Assist with fast-track development styles and tracking
- Manage and update seasonal development reports
- Place and track trim orders
- Support tech pack updates, sample tracking and comment sending following fittings
- Coordinate development shipments to and from factories
- Maintain fabric, trim, SMS, and archive/vintage libraries
- Help uphold product and construction standards for denim
- Assist in managing fabric, trim and garment costs and all other related information
- Assist with purchase order updates
- Support labeling and product information requirements
- Measure fit samples and record specifications
- Coordinate and schedule fittings
- Complete specification sheets prior to e-commerce launches
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Assistant Design, Product Development, or a related apparel role
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
- CAD sketching abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience participating in or supporting garment fittings
- General knowledge of fabrics and garment construction
- General knowledge of denim and denim washes is preferred
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- PLM system experience is a plus

Compensation: Starting at $25/hour, with opportunities for growth based on experience and performance.
