Job Purpose:

The Digital Operations Manager for the eCommerce team will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all digital operations for Galeries Lafayette's online store. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing online customer experiences, managing digital platforms, and ensuring all processes are aligned with the overall business strategy. The role will drive improvements in operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation, while maintaining a seamless digital experience for customers.

Job Context & Major Challenges:

As Galeries Lafayette continues to expand its presence in India, the Digital Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the eCommerce platform is fully optimized and operates efficiently. This role will be integral to managing the technical, logistical, and customer-facing aspects of the digital experience. Working closely with various teams, including marketing, IT, customer service, and logistics, the Digital Operations Manager will ensure the brand’s eCommerce operations are scalable, user-friendly, and deliver a premium customer experience.

Key Result Areas:

eCommerce Platform Management-

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Galeries Lafayette eCommerce platform, ensuring all website functionalities are fully operational.
  • Coordinate with IT and third-party service providers to address any technical issues, optimize platform performance, and ensure security compliance.
  • Manage product catalogs, content updates, and online merchandising, ensuring the site is always up-to-date with the latest products, offers, and content.

Enhanced Brand Consistency-

  • Maintain a cohesive brand voice across all marketing channels, leading to improved brand recognition and customer loyalty.

Boosted Conversion Rates-

  • Contribute to higher conversion rates for campaigns by crafting persuasive and targeted copy that resonates with the audience.

Timely Content Delivery-

  • Ensure all content is delivered on schedule, supporting marketing campaigns and product launches effectively.

Positive Feedback-

  • Receive positive feedback from team members and stakeholders regarding the quality and impact of written content.

Eligibility:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Digital Operations / eCommerce / Online Retail
  • Prior experience in luxury, premium retail, or fashion eCommerce will be an added advantage
  • Proven experience in managing eCommerce platforms
  • Exposure to cross-functional stakeholder management (Marketing, IT, Supply Chain, Customer Experience)
  • Experience in handling high-traffic campaigns, product launches, and omnichannel operations
