Madison’s Niche Boutique, in the beautiful village of Garden City (not at the mall!), is currently accepting resumes for Full Time Assistant Manager candidates.
This is an entry level position for someone who loves to sell, service, and lead a small team.
Summary
As an Assistant Boutique Manager, you will support the Boutique Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a high standard of customer service. Your core skills in inventory management, retail sales, and team management will be essential in supervising staff and maintaining efficient inventory control. You will also be responsible for processing new goods, creating beautiful store displays and keeping a clean, neat shopping experience for our loyal customers.
Strong Visual Merchandising skills required
You will play a key role in enhancing the overall shopping experience by creating visually appealing displays that drive sales and customer engagement. You’ll work closely with our boutique manager to ensure product placement aligns with brand standards and store goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement visually appealing displays to showcase products effectively.
Ensure product placement is consistent with seasonal themes, promotions, and brand guidelines.
Maintain the overall look and feel of the store, ensuring it is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the sales team to ensure appropriate stock levels are displayed.
Assist with setting up and executing in-store promotional events or sales.
Stay updated on the latest visual merchandising trends to bring fresh ideas to the store.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve overall customer experience.
In addition, this is a permanent position and requires a resume with a proven track record of selling experience in a fashion boutique/ retail environment.
Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
– Assist customers in finding and selecting products
– Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
– Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
– Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
– Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions
– Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
Skills:
– Excellent communication skills to effectively sell products and interact with customers
– Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain a clean sales floor
– Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Experience with cash register operations and handling cash transactions
– Must be super friendly and enjoy talking to people
Open availability is mandatory
At least 1+ year supervisory experience in a retail setting
