We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Designer to join our dynamic creative team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Designer with a variety of daily tasks across the design and development process
- Research and forecast emerging trends in fabric, color, silhouette, and styling to inform seasonal collections
- Support the development of mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings that communicate design concepts clearly
- Collaborate with senior designers to refine design ideas and ensure alignment with brand vision
- Participate in fabric sourcing, sample making, and fitting sessions to ensure designs meet quality and aesthetic standards
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to track sample development and revisions
- Assist in preparing design presentations, seasonal line reviews, and lookbooks
- Maintain organized files of sketches, CAD files, photographs, and project documentation for efficient workflow management
- Stay current on competitor brands, retail trends, and consumer preferences
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in fashion design or a related creative field; internship experience will be considered
- AA or BA degree in Fashion Design (or equivalent experience and education)
- Strong fashion sense with the ability to forecast and interpret trends
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong understanding of fashion design principles, color theory, and layout
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred
