About Joshua Perets

Joshua Perets is a Montreal fashion brand designed for the modern young woman. We specialize in high-quality loungewear and apparel that blends comfort with style — think soft hoodies, perfect-fit sweatpants, effortless tees, long sleeves, camis, and more. Our collections are fun, feminine, and made to move with you. With a strong focus on fabric, fit, and construction, every piece is thoughtfully created to flatter and feel amazing.

We are growing our team and looking for a creative, hands-on Assistant Fashion Designer to play a key role in bringing our collections to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Create and develop detailed flat sketches in Illustrator based on garment measurements and construction details
  • Receive, measure, and evaluate samples against specifications — flagging discrepancies and following up directly with overseas suppliers
  • Build and maintain tech packs, collection boards, and accessory files including hangtags, zippers, trims, and logos
  • Manage and organize sample tracking across seasonal collections
  • Assist in the preparation of colors, styles, and collections each season
  • Design graphics and wordmarks for application across styles
  • Contribute styling ideas and outfit inspirations for the marketing department
  • Support photoshoots and styling, ensuring brand consistency throughout

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in fashion design
  • Confident measuring garments and working with technical specifications — this is a core part of the day-to-day
  • Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
  • Experience communicating with overseas factories and suppliers is a strong asset
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed — someone who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine fashion sense and ability to work within an established brand aesthetic
  • Experience with photoshoots and styling is a strong asset
  • Experience with Figma or AI design tools is a plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive full-time salary
  • Health, dental, and life insurance
  • Store discount
  • On-site parking
  • Casual, creative work environment
  • Real growth opportunity within an expanding brand
