About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on and highly organized Assistant Fashion Designer to join our team. This role will help with all aspects of the design process, from concept development to sample production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about fashion and apparel design, with strong pattern making and garment construction skills.
What You’ll Do:
Create and update tech packs, line sheets, and CADs
Draft patterns and sew sample garments
Support in fittings by taking detailed notes and executing pattern adjustments
Assist with trend research, mood boards, and inspiration gathering
Support daily design and production tasks
Maintain organized digital and physical design files
Help manage the seasonal product development calendar
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1+ years of experience in a design assistant or technical design role preferred
Pattern making and garment construction skills (must know how to draft/sew)
Strong Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel skills
Familiarity with tech pack creation and garment construction
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Passion for fashion, activewear, and design innovation
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
