Role Summary:

Luna + Luca is seeking an Assistant Designer / Personal Assistant to facilitate the development and production process for Luna + Luca. This role supports the Founder/CEO of Luna + Luca.

About me:

Mom of 3 and founder of a growing e-commerce business and digital product business and not enough hours in the day to do it all.

About you:

-Fashion designer with an interest or experience in baby/kid’s clothing.

-Interest in Entrepreneurship and working behind the scenes of online physical and digital product businesses.

-Has your own computer/phone.

-Highly reliable, communicative, organized, asks questions, takes ownership of mistakes, problem solves, and happily works independently.

-Tech Savvy

Role Responsibilities:

Every day is different! Able to work with constant change and in different environments. For example, work location could include – working from home, working together at a co-working space, working together at our office in Hudson, WI, working at my home with 3 little kids running around.

Create digital CADs using Adobe Suite. This includes technical sketches and prints.

Research and contribute to the initial concept direction for designs on a monthly basis.

Prepare development technical packages and participate in all communication and follow up related to each package with our manufacturers.

Attend fittings and communicate fit and construction details to our manufacturers.

Respond to customer service emails/DM’s. Engage in comments on social media.

Edit video for reels on IG and Tiktok + schedule social media.

Process and issue return labels in Shopify (coordinating with our warehouse team member once returns arrive back in warehouse).

Add new products to our Shopify store and cross-listing products on our wholesale website and Faire.

Exporting products from Shopify and creating Excel spreadsheets for our 3PL warehouse, managing inventory, and dropshippers according to their requirements.

Experience in Canva and creating graphics.

Take photos and remove backgrounds for our website.

Research – travel, personal shopping items, trend research, etc.

Organize desktop, files, calendars, etc. Create SOP’s and training documents.

Write blog posts for our website.

Customer Service emails.

Remove access for expiring students.

Set up tech or troubleshooting tech.

Email marketing: format, segment, schedule and send emails in Klaviyo and Aweber

Other random day-to-day duties – willingness to be flexible!

Possible travel to meet with manufacturers.

Role Qualifications:

Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.

Entry level technical knowledge of wovens, knits, and sweaters.
