Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations and success of our store. This is a dynamic position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
– Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures
– Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
– Manage and train a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to help them achieve sales targets
– Oversee cash register operations, including handling cash transactions, processing returns, and managing cash flow
– Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales goals
– Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments, restocking merchandise, and conducting regular inventory counts
– Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement effective visual merchandising displays
– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Skills:
– Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
– Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
– Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
– Proficient in cash register operations and cash handling procedures
– Experience in sales management and shift management
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
– Previous experience in store management is preferred
