About the role

ZILO is a quick-commerce fashion platform built on a point of view, not just a catalogue. Curation is how

that point of view reaches the customer – the trends we back, the looks we build, the storefronts we

put in front of each shopper, and the styling that shows up across every shoot and activation. This role

owns the translation from “what’s happening in fashion” to “what a ZILO customer sees, taps, and buys.”

It is equal parts trend forecaster, stylist, and merchandiser, with the hands-on ability to execute on

backend tools rather than hand off briefs.

Key responsibilities

• Trend identification & forecasting. Track and forecast fashion and cultural trends relevant to

ZILO’s assortment and customer – reading runway, street, social, search and topical/seasonal

events and decide which to back, when, and for how long.

• Trend-to-asset conversion. Turn those trends into channel-ready assets and curated edits across

app, web, and social, owning both the creative direction and the curation behind each.

• Backend curation execution. Build and publish curation directly on backend tools and

ecommerce platforms – collections, tagging, sequencing and merchandising logic – without

depending on others to operationalise.

• Storefront building. Read customer needs, intent and behaviour to design and ship relevant

in-app storefronts and edits that convert, matched to occasion, season and shopper segment.

• Cross-functional asset creation. Partner with marketing, category and content teams to produce

assets that are commercially aligned, on-trend and on-brand.

• Offline activations. Bring the curation and styling POV to the company’s offline activations –

from concept through on-ground execution.

• Styling. Lead styling for all Zilo shoots and any other activation, ensuring a consistent, elevated

and recognisably Zilo aesthetic across every output.

Skills & tools

• Ecommerce platforms. Hands-on proficiency with ecommerce backends and platforms such as

Shopify, WooCommerce or equivalent – collections, merchandising and storefront setup.

• AI image generation. Working familiarity with AI image-generation tools and a sense of how to

use them in a real content/curation workflow.

• Research. Strong, self-directed research ability across trends, culture and topical events – able

to find the signal early and translate it into a commercial point of view.

• Taste & eye. A sharp, current eye for styling, composition and assortment – the judgement to

know which trends are worth Zilo’s shelf space and which aren’t.

• Execution speed. Comfort working at quick-commerce pace: short cycles, fast turnarounds, and

shipping live storefronts rather than perfecting decks.

Who you are

• A graduate from NIFT, NID or an equivalent design institute.

• Open to fresh graduates – the right eye and judgement matter more than years on the CV.

• Strong working knowledge of the fashion industry built through internships and live projects.

• Equally credible giving creative direction and executing it yourself on the tools.

• Genuinely plugged into fashion culture – you already track trends because you want to, not

because the JD says so.

• Trend calls that show up as live, converting edits – measurably faster than the market moves.

• Storefronts and curated collections that lift engagement and conversion for their target segment.

• A consistent, distinctive Zilo aesthetic across every shoot, storefront and activation.
