Job Description
This is a Business Development Role for Babyshop E-Commerce Marketplace platform – Responsible for scaling up brands, onboarding and growing 3rd party suppliers, new brands and accounts either on consignment or back-to-back model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with the existing supplier and maintaining and growing the sales of the existing supplier by timely ordering, promotion in coordination with the supplier.
- Coordinate with the existing supplier for any new listing.
- Developing new vendors in the assigned territories on consignment/back-to-back/outright to achieve the annual budget numbers.
- Coordinating with the company’s legal team and suppliers and signing business contracts for existing and new vendors.
- Coordinating with Dubai-based supplier for timely shipment and ensuring the shipment arrives on time, and avoiding any out-of-stock situations in the assigned territories.
- In case of joint promotions, seeking the credit notes and coordinating with the territory finance to book the credit notes.
- Conducting training to back-to-back suppliers, training the suppliers to handle the company's ordering portal for executing the orders.
- Reporting monthly sales to suppliers for consignment and back-to-back sales
- Coordinating with the territory finance for the timely release of payments to all suppliers.
- Addressing the ageing concern with suppliers on the outright buys and taking appropriate action to either return or liquidate the aged items.
- Coordinating with the territory for new supplier account creations in coordination with the supplier.
- Updating the sales file on a weekly basis, checking the pricing, margin, unapproved items and out of stock items and taking appropriate actions.
- Ensuring the product listing is on time.
Key Requirements:
- Graduation In Business Management
- 3 years of experience in E-commerce Retail
- Imaginative and creative problem solver
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience launching international brands or a brand into new markets will be advantageous
