Job Description:
The role involves setting-up and streamline the finance processes with respect to Quick Commerce Operations of Tata Unistore Limited (launched recently through Big Basket) including creating and updating templates to monitor the Inventory Buying details, Status of Payments to Vendors, Inventory ageing and DOI monitoring, Sales to Big Basket and collections received against the same, monitor profitability and margin sharing with Big Basket. The Quick Commerce initiative is in a scale-up phase and expected to expand significantly by Mar.25.
Key Deliverables:
Vendor Payments Monitoring:
Create and update templates to track total buys for Quick Commerce (QC), including vendor-wise and purchase order (PO)-wise details.
Ensure accurate mapping of payments against these details and highlight any delays or discrepancies in vendor payments based on agreements.
Sales and Collection Tracking:
Develop and update templates to monitor sales to Big Basket and collections from Big Basket, based on sales data on the platform.
Identify and report delays or discrepancies in collections.
Stock Management:
Track and highlight high-aged stock that is eligible for return to vendors.
Margin Monitoring:
Monitor gross margins related to Big Basket sales and identify gaps compared to agreed margins with brands.
Accounting and Reconciliation:
Prepare and provide calculations for raising credit or debit notes related to price drop support for brands and Big Basket.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations
Audit & Controls:
Participate in internal and external audits.
Support the implementation of internal controls and processes.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
Support automation initiatives for financial processes.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
