Job Responsibilities for Assistant Managers include:
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and personnel of retail store. Drive top line sales by training employees how to sell off the wall, product knowledge and customer service. Responsibilities include recruiting, staffing, developing, training, coaching and supervising employees as well as managing the store’s daily operations and inventory within budgeted goals and expectations. It is a condition of employment that you are flexible with regard to hours and days worked and we may need to increase your hours or to decrease your hours based on the needs of our business. This job will require a minimum of 40hrs/week to be done effectively, as the store is open 12hrs/day every day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sell product, product knowledge and customer service.
Management of day-to-day store operations by ensuring all company policies/procedures are followed and that store wage and sales goals as well as operational expenses are controlled or met, as applicable.
Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transaction.
Fills open-to-hire positions by recruiting and hiring new employees.
Ensures adequate staffing at all times, by appropriately scheduling staff based on business trend and making any necessary seasonal adjustments, within wage goal/budget.
