What This Position is All About:
The AM, Transport & Logistics will be directly responsible Carrier Assignment , MNRs & pick-up & having a direct interaction with different key stakeholders including Supply Chain, Finance, Carriers, Vendors & Buyer community. Will be an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Operations. They will liaison with Accounts Payable, Accounting, Finance and Merchandising teams with co-works in Bangalore & US. Well versed on strong data analytics backed up with strong visualization techniques.
As a AM, Transport & Logistics, You Will:
>Responsible for the dispatch and problem resolution for Vendor Inbound & Outbound freight.
> Responsible for handling the Transport Operations (Inbound & Outbound) along with governing key metrics.
> Have strong stakeholder management interaction- (finance, supply chain, buyers, vendors & carriers)
> Drive continuous process improvements through innovations & automations
> Establish clear process flows & guidelines to manage ambiguity
> Responsible for reducing the Trans related MNR (merchandise lost in transit) contacts & work very closely with CS team.
> Good strong background on analytics & being well versed in latest data visualization tools would give the candidate an upper hand over others.
> Be a strong Subject Matter Expert & thereby proactively drive issues to resolution
> Develop Insights & Analyze on daily dashboards & thereby drive towards optimization of process.
> Able to drive towards problem solving/resolution.
> Able to drive the team to achieve the daily metrics & ensure resources are optimally utilized with daily focus on operational efficiency.
Requirements:
> Candidate with 8-10 yrs of minimum experience in Supply Chain with retail background would be an advantage.
> MBA with a focus on Business, Economics, Supply Chain or Accounting.
Team handling & stakeholder management experience is a must
> Having prior expertise on Transportation & good insights towards freight accounting & logistics background would be an added advantage.
